The correct naming format for a Client Access Express print session when using CU*Answers software applications is XXNNN where XX is the printer ID and NNN is the three-digit identification number for your credit union. Printer IDs must follow this format.

Example: R1999

In general, we follow some helpful conventions that allow your users and our support personnel to quickly identify the type of printer we are assisting you with. Receipt printers generally begin with R (example: R1999); check printers generally begin with Q (example: Q1999); laser printers for general use usually begin with L (example:L1999). Bear in mind that these are only guidelines and there may be a good reason to adopt a different naming convention at your credit union.

Contact the Systems Team if you have any questions before you request a device to be added to your credit union.
