Complex Passwords
If complex passwords are activated, they apply for both It's Me 247 and BizLink 247.
If you activate the optional requirement for complex (formerly referred to as "strong") passwords for Online Banking, members must use at least 3 of the following:
- lowercase letter
- UPPERCASE letter
- number
- special character
Minimum Password Length
The minimum password length is defined by your credit union. This length applies to both It's Me 247 and BizLink 247. We require at least 6 characters as a minimum, but recommend you use a minimum of at least 7 or 8.
Maximum Password Length
An It's Me 247 password has a maximum length of 256 characters. For BizLink 247, the maximum password length is currently ten characters.
Tips for Creating a Great Password
Here's one way to explain it to a member: "Say your old password was 1234. By spelling one of the numbers, capitalizing what you spell, and adding a symbol after what you spelled, 1234 could become One$234 or 1Two!34, both of which are ten thousand times safer than 1234!"
