With the changes we’re making to CU*BASE with ING and FEP, the links/URLs in CU*BASE online help have all been updated, so now is a great time to make sure your online help links are working correctly, if you use any of these links in your training materials and other documents.

To ensure your online help links are up to date and working correctly, follow these steps:

  1. Check to see if any of your training materials/other documents contain outdated online help links. The link is outdated if it meets these conditions:
  • The link contains “gold/gold” like the one below:

                              http://www.cuanswers.com/doc/gold/gold.htm#1226g.htm

  • The link contains a number or text followed by a “g” like the one below AND when you go to the online help topic that corresponds to that link (see Step 2 below), a screen ID (see highlighted number in picture below) is present.

  1. If any of your documents contain outdated links that meet the criteria listed above, go to online help and enter the number or text after the “#”  (see yellow highlighted number below) into the Search bar (as circled in red below) and press Enter, then click the first search result (see green highlighted text).  http://www.cuanswers.com/doc/cubase/cubase.htm#469g.htm

  1.  When you arrive at the topic corresponding to the number/text found in the outdated link, scroll to the bottom of the topic and copy the updated link, as highlighted below.
Save
  1. Paste the updated link into your document in place of the outdated link.
