The following applies only to online credit unions processed by CU*Answers.  All times are approximate.

Q: When are AFTs posted?
A: CU*Answers processes auto-funds transfers 365 days a year, including Sundays and holidays. Depending on your credit union's configuration setting, this will either happen during end-of-day (EOD) processing at the end of the business day, or during beginning-of-day (BOD) processing at the beginning of the business day.  For CU*Answers, EOD and BOD are typically run between midnight and 2:00 AM, local credit union time. (EOD for that business day happens first, then the business date is rolled to the next day, then BOD is run for that new business day.)

Q: What happens if an AFT is scheduled to post on a Sunday or holiday?
A: CU*Answers runs daily processing on Sundays and holidays the same as every other day of the week. (Note: This is not dependent on your credit union's business day configuration, which is used only for setting release dates on check holds.)

Q: There is a configuration flag pertaining to AFTs called "Run skipped days in BOD" - how does that work with 7-day processing?
A: Starting in 2021, CU*Answers now processes AFTs 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Since there are no longer any days on which AFT processing is skipped, that setting is no longer used.
