The information sent to the bureau was not an exact match, but based on the information provided (including name, address, DOB, etc.), the bureau returned a match to the correct SSN.

CU*BASE is set up to pull a credit report for applications that are sent from online banking based on the applicant's consent to have their credit pulled within the application. There is not a way for the SSN to be verified as correct or not at the time of the application, but the credit bureau is able to do further verification on the information to determine if a credit report can be returned.  We recommend you consult with your bureau representative if you have additional questions on how an accurate credit report was returned with an invalid SSN.

There is not an indicator that will display that there is a difference in SSN but the credit report tab pulls all of the information from the credit report detail returned by the bureau. That SSN, DOB, and name can be compared to the Loan Req & Personal tab in the loan application in CU*BASE to verify the information the member gave was accurate.
