To accrete points earned on a real estate loan you can set it up as an investment on the CU*BASE Investments subsidiary system.  In this case you would set up an investment type specifically for this accretion function.   We recommend you also establish unique general ledgers for the amounts. 
 
When setting up the investment give it a name which corresponds to the member either by account or name.  This will assist you in tracking it against the loan in the event of payoff.   When setting up the monetary fields on the investment there will be no principal balance; instead, put the whole dollar value in the premium bucket and set it up to accrete over the life of the loan.
