There are two primary reasons that you may not have received the latest ProDOC release through the eUpdate process.  First, ProDOC may already be running; second, you may not have eUpdate installed!

Checking if eUpdate is installed
To check if eUpdate is installed, first check the DocLogic your 32-bit Program Files directory (this is C:\Program Files on 32-bit operating systems, or C:\Program Files (x86) on 64-bit operating systems).  You should have an "UpgraderX" directory.

Additionally, check the running services on your workstation.  To view the services on your workstation, first open Control Panel, then Administrative Tools, then Services.  You should have a service named "DocLogic UpgraderX" that is started.

If both of these conditions are not true, you do not have eUpdate installed.  Please refer to the "How to Install ProDOC" documentation to install eUpdate.

eUpdate is installed - what next?
The eUpdate process works on a series of timers and requires your workstation to synchronize with the iSweep at your branch and the iDOC Vault.  It may take some time before your workstation is updated, so be patient.  To check the progress, open the Desktop Notifier - this is the small "e" icon in the system tray by the time.

If an error is present in the Notifier, you should address the issue that is presented in order to complete the upgrade process.

I checked the Notifier, but it doesn't show the latest version!
This could indicate a possible configuration problem with your iSweep.  Contact the Network Services Team at 800-327-3478 x266 and we can assist with verifying your workstation on the iSweep.
