Some states require that in addition to any text banking fees you must state that "message and data rates apply." This requirement applies even if you offer it as a free service. (Different states require additional language. Follow your credit union policies and procedures.)
You can enter this text in the Mobile Text Introduction screen accessed when configuring your text banking service. Use Tool #569 Online/Mobile/Text Banking VMS Config, select Text Banking from the list, and check I want to activate two-way text banking and one-way text alerts. (NOTE: Text Banking is not activated at this point unless you have activated it already.)
From this screen use Enter to move to the Mobile Text Introduction screen where you can compose a message that not only explains your fee structure, but also allows you to enter the regulatory text mentioned above.
The member will see this text when they enroll in Mobile Text Banking.
