First, obtain the following information before making ANY changes to a print session:
  1. Has this new printer ID been built in my library?  If not, a pritner/workstation request will need to be filled out and faxed/emailed to systems@cuanswers.com.  The workstation/printer request form is located at http://updates.cubase.org.  Select your credit union and click Submit.
  2. If the printer has been built, does it have the correct naming convention? (ex. AB123).  If you are unsure, please contact the Systems Team @ 1.800.327.3478 opt 2 then 1.
  3. Is there another printer with the proposed new printer ID?  If there is, either the current printer will need to be renamed, or the new printer will need a new printer ID.
  4. Am I authorized to make this change to a print session?  If you are unsure, please contact your immediate supervisor.
Provided the previous questions have been met and answered, this is how to change the print session ID:
 
  1. Lauch the print session and cancel out of the sign-in. 
  2. At the top of the screen, click Communications > Configure. 
  3. In the upper left hand part of the window, you should see "Specify workstation ID".  This is where you will put the new printer ID in.  Click OK. 
  4. You will be prompted to restart the print session in which you will say OK. 
  5. Sign in to the session and then click File > Save to save the changes.  Remember to make the necessary adjustments to the print session configuration if you are also going to use a different printer.
