There are a host of things that you will need to take care of; all the usual, of course - letterhead, business cards, and such. On the technical side, there are several things to watch for:
  1. A change of address generally implies that you are going to move (or at least add a location and use it as your main facility). You will need to contact CU*Answers early in the process to make sure that you have a communications connection early in the process. Adding or moving MPLS lines takes time - most circuit providers call for sixty days lead time. The sooner you advise us of the move, the less chance there will be of a late installation of your communications line. We will need the address and phone number at the new location.
  2. Your laser check logos may need to changed. Although not guaranteed, CU*Answers can usually create updated check secure cards for you and send them in advance of the move to swap with your old cards. This saves you the trouble of having to buy additional check secure cards to make the changes and cover the move. The only thing you will need to cover is the cost of card programming.
  3. Your thermal receipt printers may require reprogramming. If your receipts have address and phone number information that is changing, you will need to regprogram the units for your new location. We can secure a kit for you which you can use to download the changes directly from your workstation to the attached thermal receipt printer.
