To calibrate the scanner, you will the need calibration sheet that came with the hardware. It is typically a white sheet with a large black bar running across the lower third.
- Make sure ProDoc is signed in then right-click the ProDoc icon in the system tray (near the time). Select the "Scan" option.
- Click the "Scan Page" button at the top of the page.
- Select the "Calibrate" button near the bottom and insert the calibration sheet into the scanner. Make sure to pay attention to the directional arrows on the sheet itself so that it's inserted properly.
- Once the page is inserted, click the "Calibrate" button. The scanner will feed the sheet through multiple times, then a message should appear stating that the calibration was successful.
In order to clean the scanner, you will need the cleaning sheet that came with the hardware. This is typically the same size as the calibration sheet, but is made out of a soft "fabric" rather than paper.
- Make sure ProDoc is signed in then right-click the ProDoc icon in the system tray (near the time). Select the "Scan" option.
- Click the "Scan Page" button at the top of the page.
- Select the "Calibrate" button near the bottom and insert the cleaning sheet into the scanner.
- Click the "Clean" button. The scanner will feed the sheet through multiple times, then a message should appear stating that the scanner was cleaned.
