Your Merger Coordinator will work with you to determine any configuration changes that may be required as a result of the merger. If the merging credit union will become another branch of your credit union, most likely you will want accounts opened in this new branch number. In this case, the workstations used to open accounts can be configured to the new branch number. Be particularly cognizant of staff opening these accounts, to make sure they do not conduct regular credit union business at these workstations.
A special Employee ID number can also be created to track account opening.
