No.  CU*BASE is a powerful data storage, processing, and mining system, but it is not a word processor.  Although there are many places in CU*BASE where free-form text can be entered, the infrastructure is still that of a database. In most cases we do incorporate basic word-wrap functionality, but there are necessary limitations based on the way that data will be used.

For example, with Misc. Member Account forms, two lines of typing on the screen are combined into a single line of text on the printed form.  Text will wrap while you are entering new data, but text that is inserted later cannot automatically flow into subsequent lines.  This is necessary to avoid causing unintended consequences to the overall layout of your form.  Most misspelled words don’t coincidentally have the exact same number of characters as the right spelling.

We highly recommend that if you have a concern about your spelling when entering longer blocks of text, that you type them first into a full-fledged word processing program that includes full text wrap capabilities and spell checking, and then copy and paste that corrected text into the appropriate CU*BASE screen.  In some cases you can paste large blocks at a time; other times you will need to copy and paste smaller blocks into smaller input fields.

NOTE: Remember that in the case of Misc. Member Account Forms, you can easily insert additional lines within your paragraph to accommodate new text you need to insert later, whether just correcting some spelling mistakes or adjusting the content of your form.
