Visa DPS MAP and CUBase card maintenance roles
CUBASE: All NEW card and pin orders are handled through CUBASE.
- CUNW sends the AP maintenance file each night to Visa DPS. The card and pin are then processed and sent to Personix for creation.
- Hotcarding is also done on CUBASE. A new card – to replace the hotcarded one– is ordered from CUBase.
- All subsequent address and social security number and phone number updates for cards are also sent through the AP File.
MAP/Visa DPS: All RE-ISSUES for existing cards and pins are done on Visa DPS CATS system.
· VISA DPS does all automatic card re-issues based on expiration dates. CU should monitor the LVDCM Card Management Order Audit Report to view the cards coming up for automatic reissue. They would need to block any cards that they would not want to be reissued.
· If the CU wants to reissue the same card to a member prior to its automatic reissue date, it must be done through CATS
· If the CU wants to send out a pin on an existing card, it must be done through CATS
