For any GOLD update issue, these steps should be followed first to ensure that GOLD is configured properly and there are no corrupt files from a previously failed update.
  1. Ensure the user has logged out of and closed all open sessions
  2. Have the user open http://updates.cubase.org/ 
  3. Have the user select their credit union from the list
  4. Have the user run the link for the branch at which they are located 
  5. Have the user run the “Force CU*Base update” link under the "CU*Base Utilities" section
  6. Have the relaunch GOLD and let the update process
