Yes, this was added to the CASS Certification process sometime in 2010.   To confirm this, review your CASS Certification Update Report (PCASSI in CU*Spy).

Note: In cases where the county cannot be determined, we will not update/change the County field but will instead leave behind whatever was originally entered into the field.
