Magic-Wrighter

Per your credit union contract with MagicWrighter, your credit union advises Magic-Wrighter what you wish the limits to be for the following timeframes. These are per day. per all credit union transactions (both member and accounts payable) as follows:
  • Maximum Per Transaction Limit (any one single transaction)
  • Total Daily Limit (all items/all members in one day)
  • 48-Hour Limit (all items/all members in 2 days)
  • 10-Day Limit (all items/all members in 10 days)
  • 30-Day Limit (all items/all members in 30 days)
  • 60-Day Limit (all items/all members in 60 days)
Your credit union can choose to go with the recommended settings in the sign-up document or choose your own limits.

As a third-party processor, Magic-Wrighter is unable to accommodate setting these limits on a per member basis, because they are not tied to any of the financial institution's customer accounts. Magic-Wrighter has no parameters to set ‘per member’ limits against in this environment. The closest to a ‘per member’ limit would be the per transaction limit, which is effective for any and all transactions submitted for processing.

CU*BASE GOLD

However, you can manage at an individual level in CU*BASE both a daily and 30 day(rolling period from the current date) limit.  The credit union will need to have these parameters entered as an amount greater than the zero if the A2A option is activated for your credit union. CU*BASE GOLD also has the ability to have differing amounts for incoming and outgoing A2A transactions.

Per online help:

Max $ per day

Select the maximum amount your credit union will allow a member to transfer in one day. You may select different amounts for incoming and outgoing transfers. If A2A is activated this amount cannot be configured as zero.

Max $ per past 30 days

Select the maximum amount your credit union will allow a member to transfer in any rolling 30 day period from the current date. You may select different amounts for incoming and outgoing transfers. If A2A is activated this amount cannot be configured as zero.

This setting will be used by the credit union only (not by the member in PIB) and is intended as a way for the credit union to mitigate risk.

Additionally, your member can utilize their PIB settings to allow for a lower limit then what your credit union allows for your members on through your A2A configured limits.
