There are several ways to view data on members using card controls.
Card Status Change Exceptions Report
As the status to activate/deactivate is sent in online mode only, not in nightly batch maintenance, any exceptions to card status changes will not appear on the standard nightly maintenance report or exception report. To view and work any exceptions to the member card control status changes, view the daily report
Daily Member Card Status Exception Report (
LCSALGE) found in CU*Spy.
End of Day Maintenance Report (LELOG2)
As status changes are processed in an online-only environment, remember that activation/deactivation changes are not sent in nightly batch maintenance and do not appear on the batch maintenance report. However, each status change record does appear on the
End of Day Maintenance Report (
LELOG2). The record that logs the moment they turned
off the card will have ‘H MD MEMBER DEACTIVATE’ in the
New Data field. The record that logs the moment they turned
on the card will have the same – ‘H MD MEMBER DEACTIVATE’ in the
Old Data field.
Tool #159 Audit CU File Maintenance (CUFMAINT)
It is also possible to create a more streamlined report using the CUFMAINT table itself. Using
Tool #159 Audit CU File Maintenance (CUFMAINT) (
shortcut: CUFMAINT), generate an inquiry using the following filter/selection criteria:
ATM/DEBIT CARDS:
Column/Field = PCSTATUS (also see *NOTE below)
Emp ID = 96
CREDIT CARDS:
Column/Field = C5BLKX
Emp ID = 96
You will see the "Member Deactivate" indication in the "Change Made (Before/After)" column.
*NOTE: If you are using Tool #100 CU*BASE Report Builder (Query) instead to create a custom report, you can use column/field = PTSTAT instead.
Query of PANCARD File (ATM/Debit cards only)
Query the PANCARD table for any case where Last Status User ID (PCSTUSR) is equal to PCBANKNG. This has potential to provide broader view with info on all cards rather than just recent activity. As long as the last status change was done by the member via online banking it doesn’t matter if it was 1 year ago, or 2 days ago, it will be noted in this file. Keep in mind, if any credit union staff does update status
after member does, then most recent user ID will not be PCBANKNG and we won’t know that member has ever used the feature until they do choose to use it again.
