The bureau may think we can correct this, but we do not resend data nor ‘recreate files’ with corrections.  If the bureau is unwilling to make the corrections for you, your credit union will need to navigate the eOscar update process. 

As a rule we recommend CUs do NOT reuse suffixes. There can be situations where it’s the right choice like a payoff check bounced, human error or fraud. Although those are outliers and not the norm, this is why CU*BASE does allow it to happen as there are a few times it’s the right choice.
