Any GL history can be exported. Our favorite place to export GL data is Tool #650 Print GL Trial Balance (Monthly). Within this toolkit, you can select a date range, location, and GL account. The GL account selection option is a ‘multi-select’ option so you can select multiple GL accounts at a time (and likely you will need to select multiple accounts given that the GL detail you are referring to may offset multiple GL accounts).
To ensure that you can download the data, you must select the option for “Export to File”. Once you choose this option and use Enter to generate the data, you will be presented with the option to provide the database file a name. This database file name, once created, will then be stored in your QUERYXX query library. So, after the database file is created, you can then download the data from Tool #1375 Data Transfers (Upload or Download). This will launch the IBM tool where you can perform your download (if you are authorized to perform the download).
