The custom password reset feature on the Online Banking password reset screen (accessed by shortcut OLBPIN, Member Personal Banker (Tool #14), Tool #72, Phone Operator, Inquiry, and Standard Teller) requires that the member change their password upon logging into online banking.

Since this is a temporary password, it will expire after 24 hours. These added layers of security allow you to set a temporary password that is outside your general temporary password reset configuration, while also requiring the member to create a new one within a set window of time.
  • This expiration feature was implemented with the October 2025 release.
  • If the member does not create a new password before the temporary password expires, they will need to reset the password again using their security question or by calling your credit union.  You will also have the option of having your member use MFA again to reset their password.
  • The custom password reset feature is an additional password reset tool that needs to be configured in your Online Banking Password Security Settings configuration (Tool #569). It will only appear for use by an employee if it is activated by your credit union.
