Dividend posting frequencies can be changed starting at the application level through Tool #194 Certificate Products Configuration and selecting application type.
  • For new Certificates (CDs), confirm which dividend frequency is the correct for the new product and select the Certificate application type with the corresponding frequency verified through the application type portion of the tool.
  • To change an existing Certificate product, select the product by going into Tool #194, select 'Certificate type', and click the forward arrow.
    • Once the product is selected, towards the top of the page, change the code in the 'Application' field change to reflect the correct application type, which will change the frequency based upon the configurations selected.
Once the frequency has been changed at the application level, new accounts that are then opened with that Certificate application type code and product will use the new configuration. Current open products are not affected by the change.
