The Corporation ID is a designation that allows for one member database with separate accounting ledgers. It is a 2-byte field that is used to attach member records to configuration records that provides for full integration with all CU*BASE functions and processes. We call this Multi-Corporate Processing.

This style of accounting can be used for credit union management agreements where one management team may have responsibility for more than one credit union membership. CU*BASE can process all functions for a member, yet have separate financial statements/budgets, sub-ledgers etc. for each credit union.

This functionality can also be used for separate accounting functions for a CUSO (Credit Union Service Organization) that the main credit union may participate with that has no membership.

The configuration for each Corporate ID is found using Tool # 202 "Chart of Accounts/Budget Groups Maint." There can be up to 99 different configurations.
