The model and connection information for you signature pad is stored in the SigPlus.ini file.  This file is located in the C:\WINDOWS directory in Windows XP or newer, or C:\WINNT in Windows 2000/NT.  In most cases, the correct SigPlus.ini for your signature pad model is located on the iSweep in the Configs folder.

If your signature pad is not capturing information on your workstation but the signature is showing up on the LCD screen, you may need to refresh this file. 

  1. To do so, you first need to be signed into the workstation with administrative rights. 
  2. Make sure ProDoc is completed closed and browse to the iSweep by going to Start > Run and typing "\\" followed by the iSweep's IP address (ex., \\192.168.1.14). 
  3. Go into the "RDI" directory, then into the "RDI Installation" directory. 
  4. Go into the "Configs" directory and look for the file called "SigPlus.ini" 
  5. Right-click on the "SigPlus.ini" file and choose "Copy". 
  6. Open "My Computer" and go into the C:\WINDOWS directory. 
  7. Go to the "Edit" menu and choose "Paste." 
  8. Choose "Yes" to overwrite the file.  You have successfully overwritten the settings. 

If you encounter an error, ProDoc may still be running or you do not have sufficient administrative rights on the workstation.
