Yes, there is an Employee Security Audit Log table (SECAUD) that logs a record every time a tool is accessed from the CU*BASE home page. That log includes the person’s 2-character employee ID as well as the CU*BASE user ID (the ID that was used to log in to that workstation) and other details.

Tool #1695 View User/Employee ID Security (SECAUD) is a canned Query that looks at data in the SECAUD table, showing both attempted and successful access to CU*BASE tools by employees. It is intended as a forensic tool for gathering information about an employee’s activity, including which User (login) ID and Employee ID were used when accessing a particular tool.

IMPORTANT: These two IDs are not linked by the system or associated in any way. However, this inquiry can be helpful if you are trying to retrace a particular employee’s steps over a certain period, or if you just want to scan for anomalies where the name under the employee ID doesn’t correspond to the expected User ID.

Also see Tool #162 Audit Insider/Employee Activity (SECAUD) for another canned Query over this same table.
