CU*BASE has been historically designed to always make dividends available to the member, whether as a check, a transfer to another sub-account, or directly from the certificate account. This means that regardless of the Dividend Payment Code on the CD, the member has access to the dividends they have earned, including the member walking up to the teller line and making a withdrawal of those dividends. For this reason, CU*BASE always displays the number of dividends in the default member service screens.
