For security reasons, I like to lock out members from using online banking until they actually want to use it. But with non-use expiration and automatic deactivation features turned on, how do I run any sort of online banking promotion?
If you: A) automatically deactivate online banking access for all new members, and B) expire online banking passwords due to non-use after 90 days, then how do you run an online banking promotion? After all, sending a marketing piece to members won't do any good if they're disabled or locked out from logging in. Do the Deposit Secured loan products require that joint owners sign documents? Does it evaluate loans against community or marital property laws?
No. Secured loans do not look to joint owners, community property, or marital property laws. The loan documents will not require, ask for, or accept a second signature. Your credit union may wish to review your Member/Loan Documentation to ensure they are still in compliance with the product. You may decide to use a unique certificate type for CD Secured loan products or a unique dividend application for your Share or Share Draft Secured loan products.

Members who use either this logout button or the Logout button at the top of the page will be directed to the Online Banking Community (OBC) page. This generally happens only rarely, and the few times it has, it was because of a graphic included in the stories that appear on the login page and Online Banking Community pages.
