  • 4. When entering a phone number I notice that I can create any seq # I want, such as 10 or 100 or whatever. Doesn’t every member have to have a seq #1 for their primary phone number? Public
    Preview
Actually, no. Whenever a primary phone number is needed to display on a screen or for other purposes, the system simply finds the number with the lowest seq# for that account. When copying phone numbers back to the old fields in MASTER and MASTRL, the system takes the lowest seq# and puts it into the home phone slot, the second lowest into the cell/other slot, and so forth.

  • 11. We just got a CU*BASE software release and now when I try to run one of my custom Queries I get an error message, "Level for file XXXXX in XXXX does not match query (I C)." What should I do? Public

This occurs when the release includes changes to the files that your Query uses. For example, if we add a new field to the MASTER file, any Query you have that uses that file will display an error message. Fortunately, it is very easy to refresh your Query so that you can use it again. All you need to do is access the Query and save it. That's all. You don't have to make changes to it, it's just important that you save it so it can refresh itself to match the new file layout.   More...
