Tools for Tracking Teller Drawer Balances
 
  1. Within the Trends section of Analytics Booth, there is a Powerline for Teller Cash Total. This Powerline is designed to provide credit unions with a daily total of all teller cash as of EOD. Credit union executives and data analysts can review this data to determine if the amount of cash on hand at EOD is increasing or decreasing.

  1. The Teller Drawer Control/Inquiry (Tool #33) will allow you to access each teller drawer individually to verify cash/denomination balances.
     
  2. The End of Day Head Teller Trial Balance (PHTCL3) – This CU*Spy report will provide the beginning and ending teller cash for all tellers at each branch. This report will also provide the beginning and end vault cash balance for each branch.
     
  3. The Head Teller Sign-On Confirmation (PHTON2) – This CU*Spy report will provide the total amount of cash in teller drawers, undistributed cash, and he total change fund balance by branch.
     
  4. The Teller Closing Transaction Audit Report (LTLAU2) – This CU*Spy report will provide a listing of all teller transactions (audit keys) completed during the day as well as a summary of all transactions completed during the day.
     
  5. The End of Day Head Teller Trial Balance (PHTCL3) – This CU*Spy report will provide the beginning and ending teller cash for all tellers at each branch. This report will also provide the beginning and end vault cash balance for each branch.

  • Cash Inventory Summary Inquiry (Tool #186) – This tool will provide the rolled total, loose change total, bills total, and misc. totals for all teller drawers. This inquiry will also provide detail for vault balances as well.
  • Paper Bill Inventory Inquiry (Tool #575) – This tool will provide the denomination detail for all teller drawers. This inquiry will also provide detail for vault balances as well.
