    Much of the pre-conversion training is done on-site, but it also includes a variety of online courses. These courses, along with an introduction to CU*BASE, will lay the foundation for the more in-depth training that will occur prior to your CU*BASE conversion.   • 6. How does CU*Answers provide on-going training for new credit unions to help ensure they are using the maximum system features? Views: 34
    CU*Answers offers product utilization reviews for all clients. This process reviews the system features that the cu is using, and then makes recommendations/suggestions for implementing new features. This process is very beneficial for client after they have been on they system for six months to one year. This is also a good process for clients that have been on the system even longer to ensure they have kept up to date on new product offerings.

    Ongoing education is a commitment that CU*Answers makes to every CU*BASE client. As part of its conversion process CU*Answers will develop a comprehensive education schedule for ensuring your staff is trained for utilizing CU*BASE at the time of conversion.     Training is held both at CU*Answers and at the credit union. The six CU*Answers University weeks are held at our corporate office, although many individual training requests are held on-site at the credit union. Location is often determined by the facility, and what is needed for the training session.

    A combination of online and instructor-led classes are provided prior to conversion. Different training and support packages are available to choose from as based upon credit union need.
  • 14. Is pre-conversion training done via "train-the-trainer"? Views: 18
    Pre-conversion training is done via multiple methods, including online classroom applications and on-site training by CU*Answers experts. This includes a comprehensive CU*Expert program designed to train select credit union staff for a higher level of CU*BASE competencies. In essence, these will be your teams' go-to leaders for answering Level 1 CU*BASE support questions. Your conversion coordinator will work with you to determine the most appropriate training package prior to conversion.
